Product designer and website creator based in Prague, Czech Republic.

Crafting designs and building products that should be able to solve some of your problems and help make your life uncomplicated + aesthetically pleasing.

Hi, I'm Louis. Thank you for stopping by…

I'm currently working with tech startups to help shape their digital products and user experience in a more consistent manner.

Currently collaborating with tech startup founders around the globe.

A part of tech companies & design agency since 2020. Works featured on the NYC Time Square Billboard.

Multidisciplinary design knows no borders.

I've been helping tech startups with their digital products since 2020. I’ve worked with companies and founders from the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Australia, Japan, and Singapore. Covering many fields, from product design, website development, brand identity, and digital marketing works.

Pushing my abilities in different industries.

I have worked on over 50+ design projects, from minor to massive, independent to collaborative. And as I worked in design agency or tech startups and as a solo freelancer, these experiences allowed me to test my ability with many types of businesses in vastly different industries.

Respecting the entrepreneurship and startup spirit.

In later 2022, my tech startup experience strengthened significantly as I became the first and only designer for a new San Francisco based programming tech startup, which is a part of the Y Combinator Summer 2022 Batch.

Until now, my design works have been featured online to over 1.3 million audiences. And in 2023, my startup designs had a chance to be shown on the New York Time Square Billboards as a partner with Brex and Y Combinator startup accelerator program.

From beautiful Vietnam, to the world.

Vietnamese, now traveling across the continents and making the best experience for wonderful memories.

Here is my story:

I came from a small, lovely village in Vietnam. Ever since I was little, I always had this desire to pursue innovation and artistic interests. Thanks to my dad, who let me use his computer for the first time when I was in primary school, I was able to quickly adapt to the world of technology as I was growing up.

After high school, I was accepted to a top technology school in Vietnam to study Information Technology. Even though I knew this was a great direction for my life, I couldn't help but felt that something was missing, and it was artistic works.

While studying at my university back in 2020, I started a new journey as I built my travel photography career. Using my old iPhone 6 that I bought in high school, I captured the beautiful scenery from Hanoi, the beloved city I first lived in. By learning landscape photography and social media marketing online, I then posted my pictures on Instagram to quickly attract thousands of audiences around the world who shared the same interests:

Seeing my potential in art and marketing, my cousin and his fiancee, founders of a product design agency based in Hanoi, hired me to help with his company's social media marketing. His team, including the best graphic designers in Vietnam, was collaborating with international clients to design the most sophisticated brands and products. This was the first time I got exposed to the world of designers and digital applications, which brought me closer to the perfect mix of innovative technologies and artistic expressions.

In two years of working in this exceptional agency, I was able to play in many fields, did many experimentations, and joined countless unique projects… I was their social media manager, graphic designer, photographer, market researcher, and everything else you named it. We achieved many small goals and significant milestones together, and the experience I gained there was priceless for such a young designer.

In 2022, me and my girlfriend decided that we would move to a new city across the country and travel the world for our own experience. So we decided to say goodbye to our companies and started to pursue full-time freelance so we could be able to work anywhere in the world without compromising our dreams.

I was working as a full-stack product designer remotely for a super cool new tech startup based in San Francisco (one of my favorite cities). I and my girlfriend were working anywhere in Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City, etc, while collaborating with our international clients. It was indeed a dream come true for us:

Worked in a new startup with my co-founders who are based in Singapore and England. I was directly involved in the digital product development processes, I was their first and only designer so it pushed me to learn and try and fail so many times. I'm so thankful for this experience, it opened my eyes to how hard and complicated it is so we could have a beautifully working product that is also aesthetically attractive.

After a year of working remotely with exciting new startups and saving enough money, I decided to make my lifelong dream come true: Living in Europe in my 20s. So I was looking for universities in the European Union and finally landed in the stunning Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic to study International Business in their #1 business university.

Now, working as a startup design partner and helping software businesses all around the globe, I find my journey as exciting as ever. Looking at the years of my career, I saw myself never stopping learning new things, figuring out complex but helpful problems, and try building kinds of stuff to know what is a failure and what is a success. And I really appreciate all of these lessons because it guides me toward achieving all of my dreams.

Hope you find somewhat inspiring from my story. Here is a picture I took when I completed my lifelong dream — Capturing the sparkling Eiffel Tower at late night in Paris:

Appreciating where I came from.

I admire my country's traditions, values, and its beautiful scenery. As an overseas Vietnamese, I'm here to preserve and promote Vietnam's remarkable culture and build it up with the world's best practices, along with my own identity and personality.
